Experience and Innovation: The power of our heritage

At Fluidmaster, we proudly combine global reach with European craftsmanship. We are not just a brand; we are the culmination of centuries of innovation, craftsmanship, and a relentless pursuit of excellence.

1957 - The start of Fluidmaster

One Man's Vision

Fluidmaster was established in 1957 by the pioneering engineer, inventor, and philanthropist, Mr. Schoepe, with a vision to innovate and provide top-quality toilet solutions. Born in Germany, the homeland of leading sanitaryware product solutions, he encountered plumbing at early age.

Although in his early business career he followed his passion for aircraft, he later influenced the sanitaryware industry with Fluidmaster revolutionary toilet cistern valve he designed.

Revolutionizing Toilets

A man convinced that the existing toilet technology was inefficient and unreliable, he wanted to create a more advanced fill valve that worked with, rather than against, water pressure. In 1957, Mr. Schoepe's vision became a reality when he revolutionized the toilet components industry by patenting the innovative Fluidmaster fill valve technology.

The iconic Fluidmaster logo, initially envisioned by our founder Mr. Schoepe in 1957, features a heart symbolizing the 'stop and go' function of the inaugural Fluidmaster toilet cistern valve he designed. It remains our emblem, symbolizing water's centrality in our commitment across the Fluidmaster family of brands.

Fluidmaster's strategic acquisition of brands SCHWAB, WISA and LIV represents a visionary move aimed at harnessing synergies and fortifying its position in the plumbing industry. The decision to bring these esteemed brands under the Fluidmaster umbrella is driven by a commitment to innovation, expanded product offerings, and enhanced global reach.
